Welcome to our August newsletter. Perhaps you will be returning to it after your annual Summer holiday, in which case you will hopefully be relaxed and refreshed. Of course, August is traditionally a quiet time of year but I'm pleased to say that we have been exceptionally busy. Amongst a broad range of projects we are engaged with in the UK and internationally at the moment are a project for new public sector client the British Council, which is very exciting; an interesting strategic development project for valued long term client Herman Miller; and a major multi market / sector quantification exercise for another client, as part of our ongoing support for their strategy development and execution programme.
In terms of developing our skills and intellectual property we have been working on our practices and thinking around change management, something which is seen increasingly as an fti specialty by many of our clients. We have distilled our learning into a concise guide which we now use when developing and executing change programmes. The key principles are synthesised in the article below.
Our second feature article this month is on the subject of sustainability strategy, put together by our new sustainability practice leader Mark Whitman. We believe that we have a very different approach to helping clients to deliver sustainability strategies linked directly to our unique approach to overall business strategy development. Take a look at the article and contact Mark directly if you would be interested in a conversation with the team around how to inject real value into your company's sustainability practice.
We hope that your businesses continue to flourish, notwithstanding the challenges of the global economy, and look forward to supporting you.
Chris Woolston (MD)
